Jedidiah HorneThis week theme might not mean much if you don’t know Jed Horne.

Jed’s spent the first part of the summer in Thailand and Cambodia and will be arriving in San Francisco on Tuesday. He leaves Wednesday for Mexico & New Orleans for the rest of the summer. Because he is only in town one day this summer, this weeks cocktail hour is themed after him.

He told us he’s looking forward to a mean Sazerac, and we’ll have one ready.

We’ll have world music with a heavy dose of New Orleans, Jed themed drinks (Sazeracs & cheap beer) and Jed themed food (?).

If you don’t know Jed, this is your chance to meet him.

A bit about Jed:
“I have an unhealthy fascination with minor dictators and exotic sex cults. And natural disasters.”

So bring something strong to drink and some friends and we’ll figure it out.

We want you…

We want you…colbert0uz.gif

to turn up at this Tuesday’s Cocktail Hour. What could be more all American than chili dogs? Chili dogs with a side of red, white & blue Jello.

We’ll have patriotic episodes of the Colbert Report.

Please bring something patriotic to drink (Ben Franklin liked beer) and some friends.

“So don’t pay attention to the approval ratings that say 68% of Americans disapprove of the job this man is doing. I ask you this, does that not also logically mean that 68% approve of the job he’s not doing?”

We’ll have the Weber Smoky Joe (TM) grill out back (MSRP: $49.99) grilling up Morningstar Farms Veggie Grillers Burgers (TM) (MSRP: $4.69 4 pack) and Johnsonville (TM) brand bratwurst (MSRP: $7.99 12 pack). You’ll get your choice if you can correctly guess the last number in the price of the condiments available. Drunken boxers, flying guillotines, and ninjas.  This weeks Tuesday cocktail hour will feature all of the above.

Come join us 5:30-10PM tonight for a drink and some hors d’oeuvres, with a kung-fu ninja twist.  We’ll also have sazeracs for those of you who like that sort of thing.  Come early to see the knockoff roomba at work or stay late to see what happens to the Master of the Flying Guillotine .  Bring a ninja mask if you have one, or Preston can teach you to make one out of a t-shirt.

The fourth in a long series of Tuesday after-work cocktail hours will be held tonight at our place in the Mission/Castro, 5:30 - 10 PM.

We’ll be featuring sazeracs and Koyaanisqatsi , which should be an interesting combination, especially for the city planners.
